Thermal tent liner anyone?

They call it a tent but it's not waterproof 
However, I read the bumph and it appears to actually be a thermal inner, the idea seems quite sound but I don't think I'd want to carry it about. Perhaps the term 'hiking' is now used to describe the 5 yard walk from your car to your pitch?
