You know the bike inflation bubble is slowing down when PX play with prices again. They didn't shift much for a while and now these are 50% off!?

That’s fine with me :-bd

I was close to buying one last week as I’m getting frustrated stopping to pull my phone/map out at every bloody junction, so good timing

Sea to Summit cookware is pretty good, well made and well designed, in my experience, though clearly not as lightweight as Ti stuff. I've got one of the folding bowls that's been going strong for nearly 20 years and have just ordered a couple more. A shame neither of their frying pans are in the sale (x-pan and alpha pan). I'd been eyeing those up in my ongoing quest for the perfect cycling frying pan - sometimes I want to do more than just boil water. Anyone used them?

One of the funniest things I've ever seen was Mike trying to drink a brew from one of those cups ... I think he may have had a duffer that was made out of jelly. Can't recall if it did eventually result in scolded bollox or not

Yes a certain amount of care is needed when drinking out of the bigger cup - the S2S one has a hard plastic rim which helps but it can squash when you set it down and potentially spill your beer.

Just got one of the bowls for my ongoing quest to be able to avoid eating out of a plastic bag....

I should add that I've never tried the S2S folding mugs. They don't look very sensible - the Swedish 'Wildo' ones work quite well, and are much cheaper. I'll stand by the folding bowl - the base is surprisingly useful as a cutting board.

I got a selection including one of the folding pots, carried out a test at home making my porridge one morning, was really good. I like it! :-bd

I've got one of the folding mugs and have never had any issues drinking from it. As with many products, the users lack of manual dexterity and cognitive function is sometimes dressed up as a design fault, when the truth is they are just bumpkins* who shouldn't be let loose with anything more technical than a potato.

I like mine, it's just about the same diameter an Alpkit 650 pot so sits nicely on top in a bag on the downtube.

*Not aimed at anyone on here, I'm sure you're all more than capable of operating a mug.

Yeah, perhaps it was just Mike then

Likewise - No trouble using the x-Cup and it fits perfectly inside an Alpkit 650 along with a small gas and stove :-bd

If Jase can use it without arterial blood spurting everywhere then it surely must have a solid gold HSE kite mark
