Altura dry line rack pack (trunk bag)
Just got one of these on order, £44 instead of £75.

Hopefully a Tailfin on the cheap (plus I only have 7 inches between saddle and rear tyre - can’t believe I typed that - so hopefully a good alternative to soft luggage or my Ortlieb panniers)

Just a heads up that this website came up when doing some Googling - https://www.mhonlineshopuk.com/contact_us.html Unsurprisingly the bargains available appear to be too good to be true and it is not affiliated with Mountain Hardwear. Running the URL through s couple of scam checker websites is not reassuring. Beware!

Insane price for an Edge 830 on CRC. It's so cheap, I wonder if it's a pricing mistake, so don't tell anyone else

£148. I've had a price watch on these for over a year, and never seen them below £260

Wow, that is astoundingly good value. It even had me thinking about it (before realising that a rigid 29er suits me better)

Anyone know what the 510 fit is like - go up/down a normal size?

I have the black bikepacking Trailcross. I'd say the fit is more like Adidas Sambas (not as bad). So definitely not for a wide foot and mine hurt a bit. Went for the 10.5 which I historically used in 5:10 (before the adidas takeover) and am a 10 in Clarkes.

I'd say I need size 11 to be comfy. So I guess you could take my answer as being, size up by 1 or 0.5 at least.

The EPS are fairly waterproof and have primaloft insulation. These are my go to winter riding shoes. There is the new version of the Trailcross with goretex but that's not in that sale!

The EPS turn into buckets as soon as any water gets in via the big hole at the top. I've got both Goretex and regular Trailcross.

I use the regular ones with waterproof socks. The socks keep my feet dry, the shoes don't get waterlogged and dry out much quicker than the more freeridey 5.10s. Downside is the mesh panels let wind through, so you get quite a cooling effect on your soaked waterproof socks.

The Goretex versions seem good so far, I've added wool insoles for more warmth.

Same here.
I've got two pairs of the Trailcross XT boots, one for summer in my normal size and one for winter in half a size bigger to allow for extra socks. Works well.

Same. Trailcross XT standard for summer and the Goretex version 1/2 size up for winter.

Garmin Edge Explore renewed £99.98 (!)
I bought a renewed one and couldn't tell it from a retail one, it came with all the mounts, papers, etc. The only difference was the box was a plain Garmin one.

SP have a 1.1 kg 1 man Fjern tent for £150, down from £400.

https://www.sportpursuit.com/catalog/pr ... id/2679553

No idea of quality but the review of it here seems favourable

Sport Pursuit own the Fjern brand so I'd take the RRP with a pinch of salt but looks like a decent tent for the money.
