Hate to promote a Mike Ashley company but…..Hefty discounts plus an additional 20% off code on 5 ten shows on Evans.
Re: Bargain Alert Thread
That's really helpful to me, thanks. Just put in an order for four different pairs (not keeping them all, will check out and return).Tomwoodbury wrote: ↑Tue Sep 26, 2023 8:42 pm Hate to promote a Mike Ashley company but…..Hefty discounts plus an additional 20% off code on 5 ten shows on Evans.

Aren't they a bit funny about returns?Richard G wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2023 2:00 pmThat's really helpful to me, thanks. Edit...Cancel that it's a 1.99 returns fee its sports direct that only give you a credit noteAren't they a bit funny about returns?
Re: Bargain Alert Thread
Distance selling regs mean you can technically "cancel" the order no matter what they say anyway. Nothing they put in their T&Cs affects your statutory rights.
Re: Bargain Alert Thread
Goods have to be o er £42 , I assume this is per item rather than total
Re: Bargain Alert Thread
Aye, that's very much not a problem.

Wheels (of cheese). Or some contrived punchline to a gag about tempting bikepackers with cheese along the lines 'Come on Bear Bones' …
Anyway, as I think it counts as nutrition: a full kilo of Cornish Camenbert down from £18.00 to £5.40 or a 3 cheese gift box at £9 rather than £18. + £6 shipping.

Re: Bargain Alert Thread
So apparently my order with Evans is still "processing". Clowns.
What's the odds everything magically goes out of stock.

Re: Warroad sizing - I’m 173cm. The 54.5cm is compact but it fits me. I think if I was buying again I’d want the 56.5cm.
I’m usually a 54cm on most drop bar bikes.

Re: Bargain Alert Thread
Can only speak for the Norwich branch of Evans but there was a massive pile of all sorts of 5-10s in a range of sizes. Might be worth a trip if you have one near by.

Me too, at least it's the pair I wanted. The other was a bonus.

Re: Bargain Alert Thread
Not bad price but I built mine new for £500 more back when the green frames were out - that was with 29+... I guess the price of a new frame has skewed SH prices though.Tomwoodbury wrote: ↑Sun Oct 08, 2023 11:11 am V reasonably priced Jones LWB on eBay atm. Someone please buy it before I do.
Worth noting it's a size small (so no use to me!) and the truss steel frames are quite heavy.
