They said they had stock, when you ordered...
I still don't know what's going on with the order. I had a couple more items arrive before last weekend, and they've not sent me a message to tell me if the rest is coming or not.

Just seen these 170mm SLX chainset with a 30t chainring on CRC for 49.99. Bargain with the chainring included too.
Endura MT500 waterproof jackets (blue only) for £89.99 +postage on SportPursuit. I couldn't resist at that price. They had all sizes when I ordered (not sure what's left now).
I've read mixed reviews of these (varying from rave to indifferent) but as I said I couldn't resist a £270rrp jacket for £89.99.
Merlin have got some very good prices on a number of things at the moment, including new FF29 frames at £399, TRP Slate and Slate Evo brakes for £70-£90 (F&R set!), but this Deore 12 spd boost crankset looks very good value, 170 and 175mm options, 32 tooth £37:

Love mine.
Glad to hear it. I've not used mine in anger yet but it certainly looks and feels the part. One of my riding friends has three of them in varying states of disrepair (age related), he absolutely loves them as well.

I just got some FOX 34 forks from Merlin with 60% off (once loyalty discount also applied). The description says 'ebike tuned'. I phoned to check the ebike bit and they said they were, but I figured it's only damping adjustment. They arrived as an obviously OEM item, but when registering them on the FOX site they come up as standard (non ebike) with 1 volume adjust spacer (not 3) etc. Having ridden them, they certainly feel 'normal' and very nice too. 44mm offset, but as they are 130mm replacing 120mm, I haven't noticed. https://www.merlincycles.com/fox-34-flo ... 80570.html
If anyone thinks that the £220 (without a lever but includes quality cables) is a bit extortionate then there's at least 2 EU bike shops that are sellimg em at about £140 plus postage (though minimal order might apply).
More from Spa.... https://spacycles.co.uk/m19b0s80p1622/S ... e-Mudguard
Just lashed a set of these on the Stragg - seem a bit weightier (And stronger) than SKS and 48mm sits nicely between SKs's 45mm (a bit tight for 40mm tyres) and 53 mm( a bit big) They come with crap plastic mounting bolts but Spa thoughtfully included a set of SS fastners.

Heads up for bargains on the Madison CC website.
Their kit is pro quality and criminally underrated.
I've got their interpretations of a Castelli Gabba/Perfetto for about 25 quid each - normal RRP is around 90 quid.
What do they call their Castelli gabba equivalent or do you have a link?
Andy
Hi Andy,
It's the Madison Road Race Optimus available in long and short sleeve. I've got both.
IMHO a proper quality bit of kit for those truly nasty condiions.
Lots of very cheap deals on start fitness, including heated jackets (not for bikepacking, but should be amazing for standing on the side of cold football pitches and an upcoming trip to Iceland) https://startfitness.co.uk/search?q=volter

Wiggle... seems a bit shamboliic over there
A couple of days ago they discounted the Shimano MW702 winter boots by about £50 but I knew they were sold out in all sizes before that already. Somewhere between shambolic and sharp practice.
