1)It has been superseded with the Ozo, which with the drop tail is more biking friendly.
2)I'm still chipping away at the creditcard to pay off my XTR brakes last month.

Formula ORO brakes, 160mm pair for £120

Not current models but reliable powerfull brakes with great feel, have personally used some for about 3 years trouble free on my full bouncer. At £63 each end you cant beat them. 3 of my friends have had them delivered already at this price.

has anyone used a Kinetic? - I usually prefer Paramo kit but I want something that's a bit lighter and takes up leess space for bikepacking - any opinions on it?

Nope, I'd say have a look around for a Rab On Demand eVent smock. Weighs around 250g, full wired hood and a superb bit of kit. It's worth having a good search as I've seen them for around £100 but can't remember where. :(

I've had a look at the Demand - looks ideal but I've not seen it at a price I can justify for a back up jacket - I may just have to bite the bullet and buy one!
