Sigh. Sorry peeps. So I was right - "you can normally pay £160" and indeed do.

Back in your box Reg.... bad dog...

Frustrating website. I've been trying to replace an mp3 player and noticed this site selling it cheaper. A little digging suggests they're a scam.

🫣 I'm going to pretend I didn't see those, as I recon they'd really improve the front end of the Scandal...

Shand are only over the hill from me. I really should go visit sometime, even though I am very happy with my current bikes!

Wildcat sale and extra BearBones discount.

Hey, just a heads-up that we're doing an end-of-summer sale to free up some space and (almost) all Wildcat products at www.wildcat.cc have hefty reductions.
I realise this is very close to an unpaid ad and so in a (not very) subtle attempt to appease the readers and fend off grumbling, there's an additional 5% discount on top of the existing sale prices for frequenters of this forum. Just use the discount code 'extraboner' at the checkout.

Cheers.

Planet X have down sleeping bags in their current sale. 200/400/600g of 750fp down, claims to be RDS certified. Prices £80-£136.
Also, synthetic bags £32-£48, down to 4°C comfort rating.
Could be worth a punt for anyone needing something on a budget?

Must admit, I'm half tempted by the 600, but can't quite get my head round the numbers. On paper it should be warmer than the AK Pipedream 400, but it isn't according to the published spec... also, there's no overall weight stated.

Uhm, '4 season' and 'stitch through' .... those two statements fit like a glove on your foot.

Saw that too and it had me wondering.

Personally I'd give it a while and they'll probably end up with wildly varying prices as PX apply their unique business model

Planet X are doing their Ti Silk Road rigid 29er with GX AXS (10-52 cassette) and a dropper post for a smidge under £2.5k. Their other gravel bikes also now available with Rival AXS XPLR 12sp groupsets for what look to be decent prices.

Not that surprising a white undyed sleeping bag did not sell well.
Great price though.

Excellent JC! Never, er, come across it. Have now. Superb lunacy.

"Stunt cock"? They never mentioned that in my school careers advice sessions. If they had, I feel that life could have been sooo-o-o-o different.
