I think that paints a fair picture of BB land but I do reckon the Cambrians probably extends further than Llanidloes - Elan Valley .... especially as Dolgoch itself is somewhat south of Elan valley

skiing remote peaks d chutes only access able by sailing to climbing up & throwing yourself down hill between roack walls. think been thrown towards closing lift doors & hoping...!

Nice guy. We met him in Patagonia and cycled with him for a dew days. He's a bit strong on the bike.

Recent events had me confused about how the media machine works (and how they can remain blatantly arrogant and one sided). Went to check out my favourite ever media personality, John Pilger, (not sure but maybe Noam Chomsky sits right up there too) to see if he had any light to shed.

Found this, [The War you don't see] and it's brilliantly informative. For anyone that doesn't know, he's the journalist (in my eyes) that exposed the Aborigine barbed wired fences/camps in Australia. What a brilliant and brave human being!

I had a very interesting Sunday night and adventure trying finding Wheeldale YHA, firstly the road was very well lit, courtesy of the MOD, Fylingdales 'Dome' . Later I had to rely on by a dim green led & sickly yellow dynamo bulb. We couldn't tell the difference between wet asphalt or the grass verge. We arrive after 9pm. It was the mid 90's just before the remote rambling hostel was retired. It was powered by generator, cut off at 21:30hr. Were warned, we made tea then we're plunged into darkness.
Finding your room in the rambling hostel was interesting, by the same red led light made sure the fun continued at 21:01!

Typical KL ... brutally close to reality, like I, Daniel Blake
Uncomfortable watching, but not bleak, just holding up a mirror to Britain.

I really liked it.

Typical KL ... brutally close to reality, like I, Daniel Blake
Uncomfortable watching, but not bleak, just holding up a mirror to Britain.

I really liked it.
