Just watched it... it's pretty abstract, as expected. I think it needs to be seen on a big screen in a proper cinema with surround sound to get the proper atmosphere really. Watching it on my laptop while we ate tea probably wasn't really how it was intended to be seen.

Wasn’t for me that film, think I lasted 8 minutes or so. No denying the photographer skills but really wasn’t keen on the editing side of things.

Absolutely. Some amazing knowledge he has and some real skill in the workshop. What he manages to do at home (albeit with a extremely well stocked workshop) is stunning. His suspension design for the hyperride shock and forks is another example if him producing something apparently superior to the the market leaders using established techniques and some industrial grade ingenuity.

Not sure if it was posted before a few pages back but 'Safety to Nome' is on Amazon Prime, thought it was worth watching - a 2020 film by Salsa about the Iditarod. I spent most of it thinking about the guys who do it on foot. 1000 miles.... by bike is something but setting off on foot is hard to imagine. The bike group winner is an inspiring guy. Incredible landscapes and light / colours there too. Really got me thinking - not so much about the Iditarod, just about far off places and travel. Nice bit of escapism.

Past Reg's bedtime but made the mistake of starting to watch Get Carter just now on telly. Brilliantly gritty. Not sure I can stay up long enough to see the best bit - at the end at Blackhall Colliery aerial ropeway .

If anyone is partial to a bit of [hushed voice] road racing [/hushed voice] then the De Ronde Behind the Scenes videos of the Tour of Flanders over the last four years are rather good. Loads of great footage of the race but also team cars, DSs, commissaries, moto’s and all the commentators and the guys that do all the filming.
The organising of the live TV footage looks like more of a circus than the race itself sometimes!

I don't know enough about "The Great Reset" to decide whether it's a rant, or some well-informed observations .

Interesting points though and I'm aware Sky is possibly not the most objective source of information.

He does need to buy some reading specs, though .
