I had to edit bicycle to R1g (you get the idea) in the link to get it to work as the swear filter changes it.

The bike has 32 inserts for attaching stuff, cages etc. I do like the bottle cages on the rear stays, I've seem that on a bike used on the divide before, it seems better than keep adding more weight to the forks/bars.

I didn't realise that it changed it in href's too... 😡
I have switched the URL to a bit.ly shortened one.

I'm confused. Is it a prototype made by a company called Riverside or Decathlon? Are Riverside a sub-division of Decathlon or am I missing something?

I had a look cos i was a bit confused - The riverside is the name of a current decathlon hybrid bike, and i guess this is a prototype of a bikepacking version. I'd imagine decathlon would do a pretty good job of making something good at a decent price...

I think they're a new sub-brand, a bit like B'Twin, Van Rysel, Symond etc, etc, are. You can sign up for a mailing list here...

There's also some sort of Riverside Festival website too...

Yeah Riverside are a Decathlon inhouse brand. Have been watching the Riverside range with interest. They look really sorted!

The 'Touring' looks very similar to this.

Yeah. The 920 Touring looks to have bigger tyre clearance, more frame attachments, bolt through axles*. Will be interesting to see what price they bring them in at.

*and "possibly/probably" better QC

They also seem to have done a fair bit of testing on the range as well* https://www.instagram.com/riverside_decathlon/

*unlike Planet-X who don't seem to do ANY product testing
