I'm interested in any feedback on both of these "rack" systems as an option to a saddlebag.
From looks alone, it seems that the Randonneur puts the load quite far back (behind the saddle mounts), whereas the Bindle holds the bag in a more usual position, between the straps and close to the seatpost.
The Bindle allows the bag to be snugged up against the saddle but I'm curious as to how much "sway" each of them has
I've read a couple of poor reviews on the Bindle - mostly to do with build quality and materials.

Re: PDW Bindle / Arkel Randonneur
Cath's got the Randonneur that she uses on her fat bike.
Seems pretty solid, never noticed any sway - it's probably a bit more than you'd get with a pannier rack but nowhere near the sway of even the best saddle pack such as the Wildcat or Revelate. You are never going to be putting a huge weight on it and it's unlikely to have any effect on the saddle rails given that they also support your weight when riding.
Also acts as a partial mudguard

Better weight than wisdom, a traveller cannot carry

This looks interesting, I bet they'd do just the rack too.
