I bailed on my two day ride from home bivvy to the lakes because of multiple sources saying the wind is going to be rediculous.

The wind on winter event was extremely entertaining, but on busier roads its not as fun. Plus my lunar solo only stands up to approx 50mph winds.

It couldn't be calmer right here... A feather on a piece of string wouldn't fly.

A rare opertunuty where the mrs said to play out for two days whilst she's out with her girlfriends for a bridesmaid thing not used to the full.

I've got next weekend to play. But only from 5.30pm Friday till late Saturday.

You just made my day... right then... car it is (I hate being wind-pushed into traffic... even if it is lacking at 4am... I hate having to ride into 20 and 25mph wind even moreso but its quite possible it might be double them figures... Hopefully not though)...
