3491 ft bivvy

I know some of these pics are in the BAM thread but I thought I'd stick it as a post on its own...
After riding with Allen (Escape Goat) for the first time way back in January on the BB Winter Event, he asked me on a few occasions if I'd show him a route in Snowdonia and take in a bivvy. So I dipped into the 'Summittoppler book of mtb' routes and delivered this beauty on Friday/Saturday.
A bit breezy late afternoon had me thinking of a plan B but it wasn't needed as the wind soon died down.
The destination was Carnedd Llewellyn which stands at 3491 feet and is Wales's 2nd highest peak.
Typically its the one in the cloud...

The going was tough as we had a fair bit of hike a bike to do Good training for Allen's BB200

As we got nearer the summit the cloud was continuing to make an appearance which would have hampered our chance of a good sunset view
