Who's first for a mountain e-trike?
Looks loads of fun* and think of all the crap you could take.

Getting a trike round a corner is tricky.

I'd say I'd be less likely to crash that... but I know better.
Re: Who's first for a mountain e-trike?
Oh yes. Would love that. All the fun of trikes is in the corners and fighting (playing with) the natural tendency to instability. Only thing is it's made of pig-iron and the battery would only get you about 10 miles. 10 miles of insane shitz'n'giggles mind.
Youd better take a ton of cheap rear mechs with you though as you'd kill them several times a day*.
Till recently I had one of these things to play with at work, full-sus, Steps motor, massive amount of power across the rear wheels, and....reasonably stable. Ish. Independent rear brakes so think big broadside slidey corners.
*rear mech on the top one hangs 2" off the floor between the rear wheels, bottom one has a linear mech so nothing to smash into a rock.

I spent weeks trying to explain that to Dee's friend before she bought a Trumph trike. Would she listen? No. Does she think it doesn't go round corners? Yes.It's much easier with two wheels at the front.

That looks like the motor is in the front hub
I would've thought that would be a bad idea for something heavy like that. Needs to be able to deliver torque to move heavy loads off road, mid mount motors are better for that

Just riding a trike in a straight line is tricky. I borrowed my sisters for a laugh a few years ago, to go for a ride with mates from work. The thing is, when riding on two wheels, to turn right, you have to iinitiate the turn by turning the handlebars to the left. (Don't believe me? Get somewhere safe and try it. At say, 10 kph or so) A trike steers like a car - turn right, it goes right. The conditioned reflex that lets you ride a bike works opposite on a trike.

I’ve sone interesting memories of riding a “Big Red”
Would have been safer playing chicken on the M40 with a skull full of Diamond White tbh.
