Mapping help!

Post by journeyman »

I know everyone is heading out the door but....I use free OSM maps on my garmin from the NL website and for some reason based on me being a total biffer Ive not enough of the tiles on my unit for where i want to go on sunday and need to upload some more: the http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/ server is unavailable. Is there another free offering out there for a 52 yr old digital luddites to easily upload? Talkytoaster are talking £11 ( ill sufffer that) but 48hrs for the link.

I have a copy of the most recent OFM mapping for the UK. I could load it up on a server for you?

Edit: I've started the upload anyway.

"choose your cake" - that sounds like a Stu utterance as he kicks off the latest new WRT competition. Instead of Tussock Racing it's now 'The Great WRT Cake Duel'. Three paces back and it's.... will Taylor and his deadly slice of Bara Brith be enough of a match for Matt's hunk (and the last bloody piece gone just before Reg arrives as usual) of DFLDC?
