Ultralight Outdoors have alu and ti versions

Kind of curious as to why you wouldn't just use a stick, stone, tent peg or something? I've never felt the need for a specific trowel for poos.

Cheap plastic trowel from a garden centre is what I use at the moment. I'm waiting for Andy at backcountry.scot to get the Vargo DigDig back in stock.

Why a trowel? Sticks not always available, ground too hard, tent pegs are pins really so not suitable.

I want a trowel as stated above makes life far nicer and you get a better hole for burying. I’ve seen the Deuce which looks good for the “job”.

Cheers - the Vargo also acts as a good stake for camping on soft ground/sand, hence my interest.

I have the 17g Deuce, it's already about as lightweight as it probably can be so I'd be wary of the UUL version - it'll be pretty flexy and I can't see you getting far into anything but soft grassy earth or loam with it.

Aha... thats all good info my good bearPeople. Lucky I dont have any cash or would have ended up getting the Deuce and then having problems with my ...

I'm assuming this is a joke but it's a little misplaced.
I'd like the leave no trace message to reach as many folk as possible.
You only have to travel through the more popular rough camping spots in Scotland, or see the gel packets etc by the roadside throughout the country to realise that as a population we need a some education on this subject.
