For what it's worth, you almost certainly weren't 3% body fat (as you alluded to). Almost every measuring method starts to go wrong down at those levels, even things like bodpods and the like.

This is what an actual 3% looks like. Basically you're at the point where everyone will be asking you if you're dying.

That aside, yes, you're in a similar position to me. Annoyingly light compared to most here, but at the end of the day, weight loss is weight loss. It's a challenge for all of us.

05/04 69.1 (152.3)
12/04 69.2 (152.6)
26/04 69.5 (153.2)

Could have been much worse since that included Easter and being away from home for a few days

04/01/19 - 70.0kg
---
19/04/19 - 68.6kg (+1.9kg)
26/04/19 - 68.4kg (-0.2kg)

Very strange. That should have been lower... but my body composition is definitely improving, so I guess I can't complain too much.

Morning all,

Right, I'm back home and in front of the laptop and so have caught up with everything but not yet dared to step onto the scales of impending doom myself!

I'm having one of the shittiest years ever so far (in terms of health, injury, fitness and weight) and every time I think I'm on the mend either I re-injure myself, get a shiny new illness or something else goes pear-shaped and keeps me off the bike.

I've managed one ride in the last three weeks and having been in the uk visiting friends/family I've eaten way more than usual and beer consumption hit an all time high - :-bd

But back to it now and I'm heading out this afternoon to see what's what with regard to my bike fitness and I've still got a month before Tuscany and so hopefully I can wrestle a sniff of form in that time but we'll see.....

Well done everyone who's managing to stay on the straight and narrow and keep on truckin' everyone else - it's a long-term project and so don't let a few setbacks get you down.

And Zippy, yes of course you're more than welcome to join in - just post your numbers on/near every friday and I'll whack them on the spreadsheet - good luck!

Finally, as penance for being slack on here of late I'm going to do that graphic now - it'll be up in as many minutes as it takes me to get it sorted.....

Cheers, Gairy.

If my aim had been weight maintenance then I would have been doing well for the year so far

Those colours might need a bit of work (or to be replaced by patterns etc!)...

I'm fairly certain I'm one of four lines on there, but not sure which.

Don't worry, as the number of drop-outs increases it'll soon be clear enough

Bum!

Literally the heaviest I've ever been.

The compound effect of multiple injuries and illnesses combined with a UK visit and much compensatory/commiseratory beer drinking has not been kind to my waistline

Right, time to take serious action.....

Then didnt eat anything much the next day and yesterday kinda felt I'd broken even so had a takeway (top of the range donner meat and home made takeaway halfpound burger... 3Chefs of Dewsbury Donner Meat specialists ) yesterday with the missus and pizza tonight all round :-bd

Down 1kg, l take that!

Had a great little ride and overnighter (cheap Airbnb not actual bikepacking) in Turin Mon/Tue with days of 80km and 40km on lovely gravel roads and quiet cycle tracks.

Been containing and controlling my desire to eat sh1t and drink (too much) beer.

So all's well for this week!!!

Been away cycling the last two weekends. Am expecting to be a little up on the weigh in, but fitness feels relatively OK, so it might be time to get back to losing a bit.
