when she was moored in Scapa Flow as a harbour defence ship.
Yes interesting Colin - I do recall my nan telling me about them setting parts of the north sea on fire to prevent an invasion. She always said it was something of a closely guarded secret at the time as an invasion from the north was closer than the goverment let people believe?

Taylor, his name was Henry Wright. I'm assuming he only saw active service in WWII but I could be wrong.

I found a Henry Wright but he died at Jutland so I suspect he ain’t your man.

Happy to say to must have been less romantic, though nature always holds surprises...

No need to be shocked. Different country, different culture.
Beer only lasted two days in the growler. I'm happy we poured the growler's content into our glases.
The rim... well let me clarify; the rim had a crack and needed fixing. I rode it too hard in the mountains you must know. So my mate, a rim fixing expert, put some carbon and epoxy on it, let it harden under infrared and now it's good to go again.
...

So... I'm finished being bored. Have been in the train for 6 h. Happy to meet some folks for real now.

Bye

Interesting site that Dave, don't suppose you did anything for the royal tank regiment?

We’re looking to do other battles and in discussion with the Royal Navy about expanding into other areas. So it may come off in the future
