Sinevave revolution, Igaro or k-lite usb?

I'm seriously considering getting a k-lite bikepacker light and associated gubbins but then came across the sinewave revolution and the Igaro usb chargers. The k-lite charger is the obvious choice because it all just plugs together. The rev can be wired up to fit when you buy it, not sure about the Igaro. Or I go Kemo and fiddle with it myself. Anyone have any experience of either and know the weight of the k-lite usb.

Igaro all plugs together as well with waterproof connectors and they do a specific revo cable with the revo plug on one end and a waterproof connector on the other end.

The igaro has been designed to live in a bag for latest gen.

Only thing id say is get the switch version and have light or charging rather than trying to do both.

Good local back up and repair as well. I killed a gen 1 by running it open circuit(no load) coming off the Rockies at 70kph plus for over an hour

I've one of the earlier Igaro versions, I bought it from Richpips off here, waterproof until you get to the USB connectors but that's the case for any system. I've just posted this link in the "Chargers" thread - http://bobwightman.blogspot.com/2018/08 ... onics.html.

Stu did a first look at the K-Lite here http://bearbonesbikepacking.blogspot.co ... -look.html and a follow up here http://bearbonesbikepacking.blogspot.co ... ature.html the first of those gives the weight of the light unit as 50g.

The only person I know with a Sinewave Beacon is Javi Simon who occasionally posts on here - user name is Javi.

I suppose the choice is between a flexible system or an all in one. Both have their advantages and disadvantages so really it depends on your usage.

Hux, I will have an Igaro v1 for sale shortly and a k-lite...
They are both fantastic, k-lite is soooo much better than the Revo
Only selling as I've changed the Igaro for the 2 USB version and managed to get a deal on the new k-lite.

Igaro is very good.
I use one with the switch unit attached to a Revo and SON dyno.
I've done a bunch of tinkering with mine. Cutting off some of the connectors from the switch to directly wire the dyno and Revo to the switch. The charger body zip ties onto the top tube and the USB port tucks into a bag so whatever's charging can remain dry.
All very neat and tidy
