An enjoyable 4 minutes and 19 seconds.

Some of you will probably recognise many of the locations, however I should warn you that it contains explicit portrayals of 'mug dangling', non-instant coffee, axes and leather saddles but strangely ... only one beard :geek:

Did NOT enjoy that Stu. I want my 4 minutes and 19 seconds back. What was the point?

PS. as someone who sits on a leather saddle I take exception at being lumped in with the enamel mug/camping axe crowd. Image
PPS. was there a familiar face in there?

Nice vistas. Great to see folks on bikes. Not enough suffering. :)

"where's the suffering". Here watching it .

Surprised you managed to get past the 3rd second Stu, what with the conflagration and all .

Nice bit of cheese part way through worth waiting for though.

Nah, fair enough, they're enjoying themselves.

But tee-pees..... #-O

(PS> Glad to see it's going to rain in Mach tomorrow after about six months of drought. I wouldn't want to come to Wales in the sunshine. I'll literally "get me coat" after all)

If they’ve got room for a stove top coffee make, an aeropress and an axe, you’d have though they’d have bought a bigger cheese knife with them

That looks like a pleasant way to spend a weekend... They had pizza and a good drinks selection too, beyond the copious amounts of coffee. Damn my field-edge sleeping minimalism

I was cooking my dinner and my spaghetti had 5 minutes left to go so that worked just right. Their food looked better than my dinner so if they eat (and drink) like that on every trip I'd ride with them

With all that

Well, they all look like they enjoyed themselves living the dream in a relatively safe and controlled environment. It's all good, surely?

But...

"explicit portrayals of 'mug dangling'

I hope you and Dee aren't getting ideas for the next Winter Event, BB TL(M?)S Enamel Mugs

You've been spoilt Gian

Nice enough video, I see this is their second one filmed in "The Desert of Wales". How many eggs? And I want that Toblerone!

Was it the Pannier crew who did that Cape Wrath video? (Did a quick search and it seems it was - Beulah https://vimeo.com/187849031)

Also ... it is the 'Green desert of Wales'. Surely, the desert of Wales would be Black Rock sands or any other large expanse of sand

Nice video, would also like some other audio in there apart from music, even if it was just laughing etc

Impressed at the pizza, I have a relatively portable pizza oven at home but it's only for use in the garden, would like to know how they did theres (presumably not carried on the bike)

Not for me. TBH found it rather dull / boring. Not being mean just not sure what there is of interest. Watching people eat or jump in a pool? Bikes rolling along in a group? Mmkay :| Doing it is probably fun, watching other people doing it, not so much.

I found the pictures of people taking pictures irrationally irksome. I guess this is another Friday I won't be contributing to the feelgood thread then

Whatever, HYOH

(Without taking the time to actually look) my guess is they do the 'complete package' - base camp with tipees, bunting, fairy lights, fire-bowl and pizza-oven before and after, two days guided ride with overnight bothy. Something we predicted on here some while ago; the 'bikepacking package' for those happy to pay for the complete fully-supported unsupported-adventure experience :-bd

- got to agree with that!

I know, it's horrible when you realise you're actually rational after all...
