Teddy bear bones 29th June

This has been a somewhat covert planning operation this year. Not because we are antisocial but because it's a real struggle to find sites suitable for the kind of camping and riding we want to do with small children present.

We've had a few pull out so we now have some spaces

If anyone's interested, drop me a message and I shall give you more details. This year the location is in the lakes and we have a site from 29th June to 2nd of July. I shall give more details and prices via pm (but the camping is rustic so very reasonable:) )

This is an event for parents and children with riding and family camping. So please don't be offended if you don't have children - but This isn't for you :)

Sounds great but have plans already made for that week. Love the idea though so would definitely like to do it next year.

Ah, shame I'd have loved to take my son too, but I'm just waiting for the date of a knee replacement to drop through the door. Maybe next year...

We'd have definitely been up for this, but not enough notice to reschedule other plans now. Maybe next year...

This event is always slightly problematic to organise, as we struggle to find venues to fit the group near to reasonable trails for children.

The late notice has come from people dropping out - we couldn't have squeezed anymore on previously.

I wonder if regional versions are the way forward? Please feel free to take the idea and organise smaller local TBB - the more the merrier :)

Theres a great campsite just outside ambleside and its only a fiver per night, they have loads of room! And a huge lake to swim in

The campsite is already booked. We try to get basic places that just take our group, trying to keep it as close to the BB vibe as possible :)
