Thought of something similar; however, half of the buckle remains on the bag, so would need to an exact fit

The bodge solution at the moment is to take a ladder lock along that can be fitted if needed

Looks like a Duraflex buckle - try searching for their online catalogue to find a buckle name or part number, then search off that.

Actually I have a few, too knackered after WRT to think but let me know what size you need and I might have one.

As an aside, duraflex make a double sided camlok buckle; with a suitable piece of webbing would make an interesting DIY strap, no sewing required

Aren't they the same buckles alpkit use? They list them as SJ with camlok on their seat pack page. Might be worth giving them a call?

Having just checked it does seem Alpkit do indeed use the exact same buckle

That's good news

I sometimes carry a pair of 20mm straps with buckles on for emergencies, the ones supplied with Alpkit's double ended dry bags. These can be used for all sorts of temporary repairs/fixes. They will hold on a seat pack, used as a bar harness, and as they join together they can be made into one longer strap if required.

Had the same thing happen to my osprey pack, I ordered a few of these:

https://www.extremtextil.de/en/g-buckle ... -20mm.html

No moving parts, won't break and lighter that the 2 piece plastic one it replaced!
