15m of bright yellow glow in the dark 2mm dyneema cord from the good folk at backpackinglight.co,uk. Given my red/green colour blindness, it's not surprising I keep losing and tripping over my red and green guy lines. Will make a nice project for this evening.

Working at height in a pitch dark fuel "tank" ( actually think a massive cave), abroad, next week.

An exercise bike for my 77 year old neighbour Pam. It’s a bit sh|t but will keep her legs turning. I’m slowly becoming the local bike guy. A bit scared that someone’s going to turn up here with a Hope hub that needs servicing as I left my sledgehammer in Swindon when we moved.

Some beautiful xt and slx cranks yesterday (thanks Dave) and an Exposure Toro mk12 today. Didn't come with the usb charging wire as Winstanleys had advertised it as but a quick message to them and it should be sorted soon.

Now just for a ring and I have a lovely crankset to go on Butcher...

Go on then... tell us so we can all sleep pecaefully. Something that's gonna fit into a drill. A big hex bolt wo needing alot of torque. Erm... something thats gonna save a taper of some sort into something metal

It does cut tapers,. So right, Stu ! it deburs the end of choppped threads or bolts. So you can thread nuts on easily.
So No lathes, files or angle grind required. Easiest with a drill but also works with a hex bi'ts screw driver. One tool m4 - m25
It cost about £10 (Faithful brand) , but it actually works as promised.
It easy to keep cutting to make a blunt point. It only needs a, few turns.

Haha... I got it (or I understand it now)... thanks Dan. Its a deburring tool for after Daves cut his steerer tube. Must be planning to cut alot of steerers

Oh aye. Personal monitors, face fitted RPE with various filters, 15 minute escape sets, gloves, suited and booted it's getting the full mashings. Luckily it's old, fairly well ventilated and now has a big hole in the side (still 100+ metres away from furthest point.

Anyone moaning about a paper mask can do one

The debur tool version I got have separated hardened cutting blades, not just the same steel through out.
As my mate says, 'to save time I use the biggest power tool, if I wanna @#&* it up royally.'

Montane fireball footies. Feet were pretty cold on Jan's bivy, despite we wearing a pair of heat holders, so going to give these a whirl. Come in a little stuff sack but more importantly their compressability means they pack a bit smaller than the heat holders
