I've been testing Luna Sandals for the last four weeks and have been less-than-impressed with them - Especially given the price. Xero Shoes are much lighter (and flexible), and make a great companion for travel. I run feetus.co.uk and specialise in 'barefoot' running stuff and have decided against stocking the Lunas. :ugeek:

Hmmm... Know what you mean didn't expect Caldera to be so big! Evernew pots nice though.

Saw you picked that up Hexamid for a bargin. Is it any different to Lair (apart from being a bit bigger)?

Very similar Malc. It's a little deeper, a touch lower but about half the weight of my Sil' Lair. I'm hoping the extra side tie-outs will stop it being too noisy ;)

Hi Firmo, I mostly got them for a bit of fun running and coz I managed to pick them up less than half price, the xeros do look much more minimal! My main running shoes just now are New Balance Minumus Trail which I really like and am planning to use for an off road half next month. I might be in touch for advice next time I am shoe shopping :)

'Tis a Solo Plus ... I believe it's slightly longer / deeper than a standard Solo.

Last week, a new tyre to replace a torn and worn crossmark.
Today, a pair of inner tubes and a headset.
More later in the week ;)

Yesterday the postie brought a new frame, cranks and a pair of tyres.

Today I got a very warm sleeping bag from Anthony. Cheers fella.
Got in it for less than five minutes before having to get out again due to overheating. Very pleased - I finally have a proper winter bag.

My copy of the Cordillera turned up yesterday, but im currently 3/4's of the way through Dividing the Great, so will pick it up during next week.

I believe i have a parcel sat at home, so its either the new cranks for my Allez, or the tarp poles from Stu! Either way, i cant wait to get home.

Few replacement bits for me- second Peak Elite AC. Let's see how long this one lasts!

Replacement Montane Fireball smock. Newer design with almost baffle stitching on the front. Quality seems better although, I'm not sure the chest pocket is necessary.

The postman's brought one of these to work today. It's actually for the nursery that occupies part of our premises, but I've already arranged to borrow it for the odd weekend 8-)

Anyone know any good dehyrator recipes?

James, if for any reason you don't get on with them, I'd have them off you to try. Not quite convinced by Woodchippers...

Ian, if you decide to sell you woodchippers let me know as I'd be very interested in them.

A very exciting Topeak Mountain Morph pump. I think my current pump will struggle with the Fatty's floaters...
