Sorry to troll you Steve mate, but you're treading in my old footsteps here

. Had a normal Synmat, then invested in H/L version, then finally a Winterlite (H/L) which is only about 40g heavier and does me all year round, leaving the other two for emergency use only, sigh. You'll have the trio set afore long mark my words

Every little helps, I did another test load out,shelter and cooking kit+food for an overnighter 36lb. A shocking 26lb lighter than my first WRT, realistically I’m going to be heavier than that but I’m confident I can go out at the next WRT under 40

Certainly more shoe like than my current plastic soled xc items, well see if they provide more grip off the bike, so time to take the bike for a walk

now just need to think of somewhere to walk that isn't a mud bath, so nowhere round here at the moment

They were reduced, I guess there's a reason that colourway was left

they'll look like all my other shoes soon, muddy. They didn't think through that box though, or they did and it's backfired

Good for my hobbit feet but bright orange
