It's what I borrowed and I can't remember a bike feeling so right from the outset since about 1990!

I need a test ride on a xl pugsley......the bike I rode was a 17'' on one.....far to small for me obviously.
anyone got a xl steel fatty I can hire/borrow/scrounge for a day.

"it was here when (how can I word this nicely) a “portly” fellow in an XXL full team Radobank kit over took me on the sand near the edge of the sea on a lighter bike with its 2″ wide tyres that I had the 2 following thoughts.
1) It’s official Fat bikes are terrible at Beach Racing in Holland.
2) And the Dutch have found a way to beat the laws of physics. How can they float and keep their wheels turning much quicker and easier than I can?"

I've gone and put knobbly tyres on it now to convert it back to a fun bike rather than a racer :wink:

To be a true beach race it should ahve sections of soft sand, sections of head sized boulders and lots of sea weed. And penalty points for carrying!
