I went out earlier to shralp my horse-drawn sledge in the brown pow.

It’ll need a boil wash.

Don’t post on here very often but this thread has made me laugh a lot.

I went to a trail centre once. Dislocated my thumb. Didn’t go again.

Reg you have to talk about having your suspension tuned which makes it very supple and ramps up at the end of the stroke but you are running one token.
They will look at you in high regard then.

It’s all about the loam.

I find a peat-free one is best for potting on my pelargoniums.

With a top dressing of vermiculite.

Ow, bad luck Tom. I'm sure there's a specific trail centre word for that too. RichG has a special trail centre dictionary supplement which he's built up over time poor chap, it's probably in there  .

Also what’s with calling your bike a “whip”?

Something to do with sadism presumably. Do they like to "whip the asses" of other riders? I think "ass" is probably trail slang for a massively heavy clunky bike being ridden round a centre at a snail's pace holding everyone up.

Sadism as opposed to masochism, which is entirely the prerogative of us Here.

I know it's because people call cars that. And know I know why:
