Oooh, I would love to go there. though I have to say, it looks like it might collapse at any minute.... hopefully it is more robust in real life.

Did you stay the night Scotroutes?

Does it count as a bothy? I understand you're meant to book and pay/donate?

We were only visiting.

It can only sleep 2 (close friends) so not really suitable for turning up unannounced for the night. There's a request that you inform the owners if planning to stay overnight. I believe any donations are voluntary but if you look into the background of the bothy you'll see why.

It’s a bit of a thread revival, but I found this in the search. I’m wondering if anyone has stayed in the other Orrin bothy, as in not the hydro one? Just wondering if it’s likely closed for stalking?

Next weekend I’m heading over to Raasay with a mate as we’ve both read Calum’s Road. A night in the bothy there, something on the way up, and this other Orrin one seems like a nice stop on the way back down.
