Well I estimate this kit should keep me civil for 10 days, after adding some soap for washing clothes.

The berghaus hyper smock that arrived on Friday is definitely waterproof. I wore mine today in heavy rain and stayed completely dry - it's brilliant.

New pedals for me
Smacked a rock, hard, whilst on Holiday and while it still works thought I would change it as it had some play
I've had a failure before due to internals being damaged and because its inside you don't see it until it literally falls off and you have to ride on the stump to get back to the car

Picked up a dually rim with a Rohloff hub for my krampus. Only had a quick spin but I like it.
The dually rim seems great as well. Certainly doesn't carry as much mud as my rabbit hole did.
Looking forward to not spending all winter cleaning Peak District grit out of my non existent derailleur.

New Bike Friday?
Bought form the local bike shop after I rang them & mentioned the Swintertons price. Not an exact price match but good enough to still feel a warm glow of keeping it local.
Now, what tyres for on slightly rougher trails? What pressures.

The original (Donald Sutherland/Elliot Gould) is probably my favorite film of all time. Both it and the series are a bit before my time, but there was some genius in the writing, and in the cinematography of the film.

(Henry Blake, Hot Lips and Frank Burns were Majors, Hawkeye and Trapper, Duke and Spearchucker Captains, Radar Corporal... I could go on...)

Some SLX brakes and a shifter which means I'm almost there with my Stooge. Just need a gear outer to finish it off...

Spent the "loose change collecting tin" on Trekkertent cuben tarp. Custom sized 9' x 7', extra lifters. 190g, insane. Amazing bit of gear. Like sleeping under tissue paper. Marc and Co very helpful - thanks guys. Although not posted twice due to cockups so only just arrived ;-). Tin now empty so that's it for a while. I blame Stu after he converted me with the shower curtain but taken this long to get the wonga together.
