I'm double dead hard and don't ever bother fastening the quilt to the mat.
How do you close the gap at the back?
Mine has the three shock cords with toggles.
Have not tried single cord boot laced but how do you avoid the embossed skin look
or a toggle sticking onto you or do you favour the 'hospital gown' method? :oops:

How do you close the gap at the back?
I don't, it just lies over the top of me. If it gets a little draughty, I simply tuck it in beneath me.

I can see how that would work especially inside a bivvy bag.
Just shows how over thinking something makes you miss the obvious. :roll:
