Not really the experience I want on it. Doing that sort of thing with no-one else around will put me in a "bad place".

Does anyone have any pictures of taken of me during the HT550? I could do with some to use on social media to promote this (with a credit and a beer next time I see you) I have the ones Beth took one at the finish but wondered if there were any more? I was quite anti-social and didn't end up riding with people much so its not that likely!

Remember that as the qualifying bar gets higher, only the very fittest will have any sense of being in a multi-participant event. Any average riders taking part are likely to be left for dead by the turn-off into GlenLyon

Ha, for sure. But mostly it's about knowing that there are others suffering at the same time as me.

Though on the BB it was nice to know I could slow down and see some peeps if I really needed to. Which is also helpful.

It's going to happen tonight!

And as a small thank you there's a print in it for the individual that takes us over the total. 16x20", Hahnemuhle Museum Etching Paper, the works.

You should give it a try - I found it quite liberating! I'm worried that if I get to do the group ride I'll find that to be a "bad place" if I can't live with the race pace

BTW - pledge made :-bd

Ah, but the punter buying it down the newsagent wont have their names and pledges in the back pages will they :ugeek:

Seriously though, it's really not going to be on general sale! Extra copies will be sold in the future at their events to raise funds for the Adventure Syndicate to keep doing what they are doing.

I'm in, I always watch the HT with much interest but it fills me with fear thinking of actually trying it for myself, maybe one day I'll grow a pair and get on with it!

Having prised my Yorkshire wallet open, I'm now in.

Think I know what my pledge will be but I'm wasting 15 potential words.

Come on Boys and girls - get them pledges sent.

I'm really enjoying seeing them as they come in, people have some great plans for next year and it's incredible to see what an impact the Adventure Syndicate are having on people.
