If not I seem to remember just below the river there's a massive flat spot by the road which was part of the old mine workings which I'm sure we could park

I know this has been asked before, but what does a SOL emergency bivi thing count as? Can it be a bivi, a sleeping bag, neither or both?

Counts as a bivvy as it has contains no insulation.

Loads at the Star... though obviously not so much of the internet connection with which to talk about it. :)

I'm out. Was feeling ropey leaving, did 50km then bailed to road and back to mates in Aberystwyth. Now drinking warm beer and waiting for a burger to be made for me :)

There was bacon, I can't complain.
