Dammit, I have one of those too - are you stalking me   :-bd

Don't have a weight for it though. It was my first woodburner, still have it somewhere. Think it's from around 2006/7

Very robust, use some bent coat hanger to sit the pot on. Also has a lid made from a metal cd tin

If you do get stuck firelighting, little strip of inner tube is good as a firelighter, although don't breathe the fumes.

Hmmm, now also wondering if I should take my Emberlit on my next trip
Yes. Yes, you should. And so too should you, Sir Reg. I think it's good for the soul, particularly the fact that you have to take some time with it.

I think a wood stove only is a bit restrictive for bikepacking in a lot of cases.
You are fixing your camp spot to a woodland or other place with a suitable fuel source. Some trips with know camp spots would be ok. Others when you camp according to where you're at when you're too tired to go any further may prove difficult.
You may take meths and a burner as well but then you may as well just go with the meths burner and save a little weight and effort.
I do love a wood stove but not by bike for me.
