@Jurassic pusher - where did you find 'Unbranded' on YouTube? Every link I've tried says it's not permitted in this country.

That's not an image I'd like to conjure up after a couple of beers. Actually, it absolutely is :-bd .
Reg... he starts the race (100 miles but its actually 20% more) by sparking up a cigarette... and no one finished it for the first many years

After having watched it, it's tamed the BB200 in my head and next attempt is gonna be real easy...

Its on the internet somewhere. You just need to pay the £4. Try a normal google search...

Couldn't find a link of the film but here's the trailerhttps://vimeo.com/ondemand/unbranded/14 ... autoplay=1
Thanks for the suggestion, I have just watched it (£3.49 from youtube) and it was brilliant, what an adventure!!
At the same time a thought provoking insight to the plight of the wild American horses.
Can anyone answer 1 Q about this before I go spend a fiver on it for the family...

Does it contain bad language? If you're wondering what's the threshold... erm, low (ish). To watch with the kids/family so dont fancy being told off (rightly)...
I really dont remember much bad language , there were plenty of times when things went wrong, sometimes quite spectacularly, so there is a good chance that some swearing took place at those times but I cannot actually remember it.
It is a very good film and very informative, the kids may find the serious bits a little boring , but they are dotted in the film so do not last very long before going back to the main adventure.
I hope that helps with your decision.
Rob.

Edit: I have thought a little more about your question and am fairly sure the F word gets used a few times when things dont go as planned.

Haha... we watched it the other day with the 6 year old. Been told off by the missus for it so I can confirm it and a few others do indeed. No I've just gotta ensure I make him unlearn em cos if he uses again I'm in big bother  :o

Someone just posted this in the local fell running group - a 1996 film about Joss Naylor's run over 60 peaks at 60 years old: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMuPOW20b4k

I haven't watched it yet but I'm sure it'll be interesting both for its content, and the style, which I'm sure will be a bit different from more recent "edits" ( )

The poster commented that they originally ordered it by post on VHS. Since when did the 90s become ancient history?!

The Coconut Revolution. The story of the inhabitants of Bougainville and their fight for independence against Rio Tinto Zinc, the PNG and Australian Governments.
It's tragi-comic and at the same time one of the most uplifting things I've seen.

Al Reinart's " For All Mankind" . Interviews and NASA footage of the Apollo missions set to an original Brian Eno soundtrack.
Never ceases to pull me out of the deepest blues.

This is probably somewhere else on the thread, I know it's been posted before as well, but I am hooked on The Mission Across Wales

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... oRnuVSELaI

The guy is well out of order and needs a long hard spanking for his fire rings. But I forgive him this due to the wilful trespass and non-stop swearing. I can really feel his tension as he approaches every farm and bits genuinely remind me of some epic fails I've made when off route (and on route Stu, I'm looking at you) in Wales. The mission raises two fingers at establishment and land ownership. It's completely and utterly irresponsible ... I wish I had the will to do something similar.

He's a Very Naughty Boy. Good for him. Quite a stunning effort really. Huge cojones.

Stu would be proud of him fortifying himself with a spam fry-up before kayaking across Vyrnwy.

'Mission Across Sutton Park' is the amusing prequel too  .

If this guy's antics haven't appeared on here, they certainly should have. Alaska to Patagonia largely on a fatbike through some of the remotest areas on Earth, all with a cheery attitude.
