How is started.
13st 11.8lbs in early June 2024
88kg

How it's going.
11st 5.8lbs today early June 2025
72.4kg

Like everyone I fluctuate up and down a pound of two, but I've stayed around the 11 and a half stones mark for the last 4 months and feel that I'm now here to stay. The weight WON'T be going back on.

15.6kg lost
That's nearly 8 bags of potatoes (2kg)
I'm feeling so much better with less aches and pains

I joined the local village Slimming World group, believe it or not.
I'm eating more food than ever before, just the right foods and I'm never hungry.

11th June - 14st 5.5lb / 91.4kg
Well I've exceeded my goals! Hoped to maybe see 14st 7lb, though I believed sub 15st was a big ask.
I'm now only 3.5lb heavier than the lightest I've been in the last 40 years, which was when I was about 50...
We've even added some beans back into the diet.
Wall sits.... they're coming along ... can now manage 2mins 30! Yesterday's Hiit I did 2x 40 sec reps.
Still only riding the Singlespeed and have destroyed my previous efforts & understanding of what I can do on it in South Shropshire!
Ok there's plenty of routes /hills I still know I wouldn't have any chance of riding up, but I can avoid most of them, maybe needs a short push on a certain bits, though in time I'm certain I'll get further up them.
So I'm going to make sure I ride the SS Jones every week, maybe it'll come back to being my 'go to' bike...
I did 65 miles in 4 rides on it last week, my 2nd highest mileage week of the year so far.
One more week before NKSS in Arnhem, then another week until my Southampton ride home.
