Plotted my routes tonight and in normal WRT tradition, John has given me a bonus post box grid reference... that is about 300 meters off shore in the River Dee!

Going to struggle packing my kayak on the bike so I'm going to miss that out otherwise hopefully it'll be a full house. 😁

Cheers John and happy riding/camping everyone

Thanks Reg! Normally I'd plot and do routes on the PC, but this time I've dug out my old Romer (anyone else got one of those?) and plotted the points the old fashioned/proper* way. I'll make up routes as I go!

Just hope the pub doing takeout is open today!

You're lucky! The bonus GR he gave me was about a km off Flamborough Head  I've been listening to the shipping forecast :???:

Aside from the new riding this has also been educational. I’ve now found a really good route plotting solution. Plot using ViewRanger on my, phone/ computer- share as GPX to garmin connect on my phone then wirelessly sync to the garmin. Works a treat, I do need to be online but it’s definitely an easy option.
