was in tisos yesterday
they had some nordisk down sleeping bags - victor -5 and victor -15 on clearance - 150 and 160 quid.
couldnt fault them for the cash comes with a propper dry bag storage that converts into a lofted storage bag - ok they are not going to be the lightest pertex or water resistant outers but since the Mrs only uses it when camping(duke of edinburgh leader) or occasional bivvy out she will be fine with and its substantially lighter than my old synthetic she has been using till now.

Great deals here on mountain hardware. I know some people were after down jackets, so some in here and they have the phantom sleeping bags better than half price

There was a PSA for the Soho bikes yard sales on STW yesterday. I went along last night and picked up a cheap Maxxis Minion. All clothes, helmets and shoes in stock are also 50% off, which I thought was pretty damn good. Nice kit in there too, just didn't need anything

That page quotes the extreme temp rating not the usable rating. They come out quite a bit heavier than the equivalent temp rated PHD bag but with the price reduction are cheaper than those.
Rab Neutrino 400: Weight 890g, original cost £360, now £216
PHD Minim 400: weight 670g, cost £290
PHD Minim K 400: weight 585g, cost £396
Personally I see the Rab as originally expensive for what it is, worth a punt at the reduced price. (I'm not anti Rab BTW, I've a very good and very very warm Rab 1200g 5 season bag)

Spa Cycles have halfprice-ish deals on Schwalbe tyres of various types:

Thinking about giving the Big Ben 55s a go on my Genesis Fortitude for summer fun: mostly lanes with a bit of non-muddy offroad. The folk at Rivendell rate them highly:

But that is California. Anyone use them here?
