I'm doing it all wrong!

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

I've just packed two bikes ready for catching the ferry to Ireland in the morning ... it's quite obvious which one's my bike and I also think it's obvious that I'm doing something wrong. I reckon the secret to 'ultralite' is getting someone else to carry your gear ;)

Have fun both of you! I'd be interested to hear what the riding is like across the water when you return.

Tell her she has free reign to buy shoes/clothes whilst over there but she has to carry anything she buys. ;)

I had the same problem when we did Mizen Head to Malin Head a few years back, I got the tent, the cookset and the food. She had so much room on her bike she took a full size pillow!

Have fun :)
