Thinking about buying a Vango tent footprint (Small tent) and converting.

Maybe this goes against the 'ethos' but for the price, I'd just buy one from Trekkertent. Chances are a MYOG version will be heavier, pack bigger, won't work as well and probably not much cheaper.

Thanks, having talked to them (via email) longer & wider options available.

Just need to decided on 30D or 70D with a 50g/33% penalty.

Personally, I'd accept the 50g penalty. 30d is pretty thin and it is a groundsheet after all
