WTD Jones Loop or knock offs

Post by dlovett »

I don't want to spend a fortune as I just want to try a pair out, so has anybody got any humpledinks or something like that sitting around they would like to swap for cash?

I bought a pair of Humpert loop bars a wee while ago to try out the Jones hand position. However they are much narrower (630mm) and as a result crap. I should get shot of them but I'd be miss-selling them as Jones alternatives....

There's a set of Jones Bend 710s on STW at the moment. It's the same sort of riding position as the Loops

Might wait a few weeks, I've been reading that alpkit might be bringing out a bar in the shape that you are after.

I got some titanium ones from Ali express and they are very good. Worked out at about £120 including shipping and taxes.

It may be the picture, but they don't look the same shape/profile as the Jones loops,
Not that, that's a bad thing just wondered if; a. you've tried them side by side and b.
If you have tried them are they as comfortable ?

Have you got a link to those bars? They do look different to Jones - flatter at the front perhaps.

Anyone got an update on when Alpkit might be selling their loops?
I'm just going outside ...

They are not the same as jones ones but the sweep and length are the same. These are definitely flatter at the top but to be honest, I quite like that. I have yet to ride them in anger but they feel really comfy!!

This should hopefully be a link to them on ali express. Apparently they are no longer available but they were very helpful when I spoke to them and mine were made to order. Took about 6 weeks all in.

I have a pair of the 710mm Jones loops bars in my shed. I was hoping for £90 posted.

I don't have a pic of them to hand, but they looked like this on my Stache.

PM if interested.
