Foil bubble wrap sources

Post by DanLear »

Hi all,

where's the best place to get small (ca 1m sq) sections of foil bubble wrap? I can only seem to find it on massive rolls.

Cheers

I've got a sheet under my desk at work if it helps, it's the last of the stuff I sent out earlier in the year (or was it late last year).

Where did you buy it from in the first place? (for those who sent it out)

I won't ask to have some posted to me as I am in Germany, but I could do with some, can't find any online at the outdoors stores I know, so wondered what kind of suppliers might have it.

I get if from work, our paint (that comes from Germany) gets wrapped in it when it gets cold.
I can post you some, work picks up the tab for postage anyway. PM me your address and I'll send some over.

DIY stores like B&Q, Homebase, Focus etc (if I'm thinking of the same stuff). Usually on the same aisle as boiler jackets etc.

Just wondering if the bubble wrap arrived okay MoneySpacePilot? It's been a few weeks and I like to check delivery times so I can get an idea of shipping times.

Yup, pot cosy is made thanks to FlatFishy's foil bubble wrap...

Plus I've a bit left over so looking for other things to make with it...suggestions?

Wind shield is an easy make. I have used mine for a coupld of years. The plastic middle has not melted.
