so work gave me a new iphone 6 the other week and the camera on it is so much better than my actual camera i will take it on our christmas trip to Cuba, so i want a tripod adapter for vids. so the screen and gps is much better than my garmin, so i want to put it on the handle bars.
has anyone used a waterproof case bike mount which can also be easily switched to a tripod?
i have found quadlock but its expensive and only water resistant, i found a tigra one which is waterproof and a slightly less expensive but no tripod adapter.
What do other people use?

For protection - go with Lifeproof. Bulletproof protection for your device and cheaper than buying a new device if you drop it.
As to mounting on the bars/clipping to a tripod, I couldn't say but no doubt a quick search will uncover some nuggets. I'd keep it for calls/camera and stick with a Garmin for nav.
