Hey all,
just wondered if anyone has been using the Schwalbe Jumbo Jims yet? Specifically the 4.8s? Any thoughts?

Re: Jumbo Jims?
Yup since February, including on the Highland Trail. They are dead light (4.8 Liteskins) but the sidewalls are a bit thin. That said, after the HT and numerous other rocky rides, althought they look a bit ragged they haven't ripped. Grip wise they work well in all conditions and excell on 'normal' trails, sand and hard snow. Rolling resistance is very low and they set up tubeless easily.
Excellent general purpose fat tyre if you can source them

Re: Jumbo Jims?
Thanks. I was concerned about the durability due to the weight (lack of) but sounds like they're holding up well. If you know off hand, would you mind sharing the actual width they come out on whatever rim width you're using.
Cheers
