FYI I was told that I couldn't give a damn about bike weights and that I shouldn't live in a hilly part of the country

Great bars and fork .. there's nothing new out there. I guess that pre-dates the old motorbikes that used girder or truss forks also?

Possible James although it's hard to date the picture in the link. I recall the first motorcycle manufacturer to use them was Ariel sometime in 1913.I guess that pre-dates the old motorbikes that used girder or truss forks also?
