Vargo BOT shield.

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

I picked up a Vargo BOT last week - http://bearbonesbikepacking.blogspot.co ... -look.html

I needed a windshield for it, that would hopefully be efficient and fit inside the BOT when it was being used as a waterbottle. Anyway, here's the first draft ... just need to increase the intake airflow slightly and job should be a good 'un.

Nice. Are those holes drilled or punched? And how do you hold the two ends of the shield together in use

Holes are punched Charles. I've experimented with various ways of holding the things together ... at the moment 75mm heavy duty paper clips

Could you not hold it together using two holes aligned and poking tbe peg through them?
