I do that too only the other day I hadn't noticed a guy on the other side of a dry stone wall he was repairing. He popped his head up and gave me look of utter bemusement. No point in trying to explain, I just rode on rather red in the face .

I was looking after a sick lamb last year ... I had it and its mother in the barn for a week so I could bottle feed it and get its legs working again. At first the ewe wasn't keen but after a day or two she'd come over and nuzzle my ear while I fed her lamb ... I quite enjoyed it
