Steve Abraham Year Record

Post by Dave Barter »

Not sure how many people have been following Steve, he got to nearly 17,000 miles then was hit by a moped rider who smashed his ankle. Most people would have stopped there and then

Been following this too Dave. Funnily enough it was your Tommy Godwin articles that inspired my interest
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.

When I read the news that he'd been injured I kind of thought that was it so fair play to him!

A real shame as he was well ahead of target, had done the early winter stretch and could have achieved the record.

I wonder if we may be as well resting fully and preventing further injury and concentrating on the Trans America or Transcontinental?
