Quick, get yer fat bike to Wales.
20 minutes ago it started to sleet, now my 'office' is white over. The flakes are massive and the sky looks full ... certainly wasn't forecast.

Plenty snow in the peak today too
Re: Quick, get yer fat bike to Wales.
Plenty in the lakes too. Especially high up, mostly pretty soft until 550m then some is consolidated. Was very windy yesterday with serious amount of new snow in the wind.
What's it like in Wales now? I've plans to head over in the next few days

Re: Quick, get yer fat bike to Wales.
When the snow is that bad whats it like trying to ride a non-fatbike bike?
Re: Quick, get yer fat bike to Wales.
When it's deep, so you cut through it, it's very very tiring! That's if you can make progress...if on your normal single speed geared for standard off road japes, it's even more tiring!benp1 wrote:When the snow is that bad whats it like trying to ride a non-fatbike bike?
