That's a shame. How many did you get in the end Stu?

I wasn't one because of clashes though the whole thing was interesting.

I reckon you'd do better writing a book ;) Just look at the Ultimate Hang.

Oh dear, that's just the way things go sometimes I guess.

Either that or we're all really knowledgeable / arrogant about our knowledge / ignorant of our ignorance that it wasn't understood how useful this could be

Stu, Ian and FF,
Shame this was cancelled... I thought it was a great idea and really wanted to come but I knew work commitments were going to got in the way for this two week period. That's my excuse for not showing my hand earlier.. sorry :(
I'll be up for it IF you decide to have a re-run... thanks for putting time into preparing something different. Might be good for the winter as there may be more 'skills' to learn to keep yourself comfortable (safe?) in more challenging conditions.
Have a great weekend on the border. I'd like a ride round there too but I'm away with work too much at present.
Cheers, Mark

Cheers Mark ... I think the idea is still viable, so would certainly think about having another stab at it. As you say, maybe winter would sharpen up the self preservation instincts ;)

I think I've made far worse comments than that and I've still managed to stay right side up on the forum ;-)

Still, given Stu can post a picture of himself in a novelty buoyancy ring I think any chance my humour might puncture a delicate egos is ..... unlikely 8-)

Just wondered if this, or anything like this is likely to happen in the future? I would certainly be interested in attending.

Sorry AW! I was having a trial run the other day, packing all my gear onto my bike trying to get a decent pitch with my tarp, which was going disasterously! I then remembered this was spoke about and thought i would inquire again!

I'd be happy to resurrect it if there were any / enough interest.

Is that?

(a) Don't hold it during the school holidays?

(b) Do hold it during the school holidays?

(c) Something else?

I'm in Legoland with the family Aug Bank Holiday, can't do the week beforehand either for some reason Stu. :-bd

Apart from that if I'm free I'm in and this year I will confirm by email, text, tweet, letter, phone call, PM

Right then ... it'll certainly not be the Aug Bank Holiday

No idea when it will be, might have to be next year now unless it's renamed Winter Camp.
