I been searching for next winters bike and after deciding on a singular swift I suddenly remember my favorite brand Genesis.
they had there new 29er on display at the London bike show last week and i fell in love.
the model I would be after is the alfine 11 but may go for frame only and custom build it on a alfine 8 or 11.

Oh look they changed the name from the prototype :) Seems that calling a 29er Singlespeed a "Solitude" was not a good idea!
Wondering what the fork rake will be with the slack head angle...and it does tie you down to their forks if it is something odd (like the 50-55mm I would imagine it is)
Shame the website is soooo sloooooow :(

that looks nice!
but.....is it just the photo (or maybe my baby-induced fatigue) or is the seat tube squished in the middle???

If you change your mind back I have a large swift 5 months old hardly ridden for sale. Frame and uncut fork still in the box. Impulse buy I don't really need.

Hi NP, if it's still looking for a home and would fit a 6 footer, I'd be interested..numplumz wrote:If you change your mind back I have a large swift 5 months old hardly ridden for sale. Frame and uncut fork still in the box. Impulse buy I don't really need.
